New In - Maybelline Vivids

Hello, remember me? I'm sorry it's been a while since I've blogged I've been so busy with life stuff but I'm back babies! Today I want to tell you about two b-e-a-utiful lipsticks I've acquired in the last week. The new Maybelline Vivids... Ladies I cannot get enough of these, they have the most amazing colour range I've seen in a long time and from Boots too! I got the colours 'shocking coral' and 'hot plum' and after I seen Essie posting pictures of these lipsticks on her Instagram I knew they had to be mine.. The colour pay off is great and they apply so smoothly I really am trying to stop myself from buying the whole range! At the minute in Ireland they have €10.50 buy one get one half price, you defiantly can't go wrong with that :) How are you all? It's been super sunny here the last few day's which I've been loving :)

Will you be looking into these?

Purple Knits & Messy Hair

Hi guys!
I have another outfit post for you today. I'm aware that this is 4 in a row but I've had these ready to go for a while now & I'm only getting round to it now due to college work! my tights are a new purchase from Pennys/Primark and I am obsessed, I love them so much! my purple cardigan is one of my most loved pieces during both Winter and Summer. Summer is never exactly umm, hot in Ireland so wearing knits all year around is perfectly acceptable where I live. This purple one is speckled with lot's of different colours and it goes with the majority of the wardrobe. I like this outfit, it has a boho feel to it, maybe it's the shoes hmm.. Messy hair, dark eyes and bright lips all to accompany my fashion choices this time! What do you think?

Podka Dots & Red Lips

I'm pretty sure everyone will agree with me when I say you can't go wrong with a red lip. Personally I love a classic red lip and this one is a smooch one that I got a while page, it's so soft and silky, it's a dream to apply!! Green trousers are a bit.. weird? but I think they work quite well with this simple black tee with white podka dots :) my studded leather flats are the same ones I wrote about in my 'for the love of spikes' posts and as you can see I still love them and wear them far too often!

W7 Lashtastic

Just a quick post today as I should be studying.. Ssssh. I bought this W7 lashtastic mascara in Sligo. Now, I'll admit I'm not loyal to any mascara because I haven't fallen in love with any yet so I'm keen to try lot's of different ones.... This one was only €2.50 and seeing as I can't buy this brand in my hometown I figured why not? I've only used it a few times but so far so good my love's! It applies nicely and doesn't smudge. I'm a fan of the size of the wand too as it's not super long and the brush part is quite big, another bonus for me.The packaging is also pretty cool, I love the bright yellow!! I'm going to keep playing around with this for the next week or so, but in the meantime do you guy's have any suggestions of mascara's I should try out?

FOTD #1

Normally I'm not one for FOTD posts but I quite liked my make up today as I fell back in love with my MAC lipstick in 'Rebel', a gorgeous cranberry colour that I found through the gorgeous Tanya Burr  and I knew I just had to have it. I wore it out today and got lots of compliments on it which made me smile :) I'm wearing MAC studio sculpt on my face in the shade NC 15,  my essence powder in 'Warm', my mascara is the 'Lashtastic' one by W7 (post coming soon!), Urban Decay liquid liner, NARS blush in 'Orgasm' and my brows were done from my Pro Brow palette purchased from the lovely Laura in LA Beauty.

Anyway, it's miserable day where I am today and I'm ill. I think it's just all exam stress :( but I've been getting some exciting e-mails as well as job hunting now that I'm back home, so hopefully the good news will keep coming :) I've been browsing around fashion156.com a lot this week as you'll know from my last post if you don't know what it is you can check it out here

What have you all been up too? :)

Fetish Week for Fashion156

The way I see it is if Vivienne Westwood done it in the 70's it was only a matter of time before it hit the catwalks and the high street once again! What am I talking about? Fetish meets fashion, that's what. It's 'Fetish Week' over on Fashion156 and I thought it was such a controversial trend that it deserved a post!

When you hear the word fetish whats the first thing you think off? Explicit? Taboo? Well, in the world of fashion it means lace, leather and a lot of PVC! Inspired by the recent phenomenon that is 50 shades of Grey by E.L James, this trend allows you to 'revel your dark side through an erotic embellishment or material' according to Fashion156!

Jean Paul Gualtier, Simone Roche, Versace, Givenchy and of course Alexander McQueen are all picking up on the trend and thigh high leather boots, lace lined corsets and latex material are dominating the catwalks at the minute!

What do you guy's think? Will you be embracing this trend?

Dainty Doll - Nicola Roberts

After my Internet Marketing exam on Monday I had some time to kill before I had to get the train back home and what did I do? Yep, you guessed it - shopping! I went into town and headed straight for Cara Pharmacy which is one of my favorite places to shop for make-up. I picked up a few thing's from W7 (blog post coming soon..) and Dainty Doll, which is Nicola Roberts make-up range.

I picked up a liquid eyeliner and mascara duo in the shade 001 Good Gosh Miss Molly (How cute is that name!?) which is black! I always opt for black mascara and when it comes to liquid liner I always go for black as well. The packaging for this is so smooth and lovely, I really like it! The wand for the mascara isn't the best but it's good for everyday, lightweight make-up, and as it's a duo it's perfect for travelling!

The next thing I picked up is a lipstick in the shade 006 Baby Love, which is a brown nude colour with peach undertones. I never buy nude lipsticks so this is very new to me! It's my first nude lipstick but I think I'll get a lot of wear out of it... Its very soft on the lips which I like and I think that it will suit a lot of skin tones. Wearing a nude lipstick like this also allows you to wear a heavier, more exciting eye look which I tend to neglect (I really am a bright lippy kinda girl!) so this means I get to play with all my lovely eyeshadows more too. A win win situation if you ask me :)

What do you think about Danity Doll, have you tried anything yet?
